Yesterday we took the boat out to test the downriggers. These are long poles that attach to the boat. They are extremely helpful in two different circumstances. While under way, you can attach "fish" to them (photo of metal fish) and they steady your ride. While at anchor, you can attach flopperstoppers so you don't roll as much.
Yesterday we tested the fish (photos of Pete deploying them) to see how it would all hold up. Good news, it did & we noticed a big difference in the amount of roll the boat had. Though it was a calm day & we had a hard time trying to find a swell. Not usual for the Bay.
At the end of the day everyone was happy with the results except for LC - looks like its going to be a long summer for her. Also, saw an incredible jelly fish swimming by. The joys of living on a boat.
To be continued...

Sounds like fun! I wish I could pick up my house and travel in it, not mention having my significant other able to "pilot" me safety around the world...
Nice gig if you can get it!
PS - More pictures of the boat please!
